Research Agenda of POLIS University, prepared carefully and seriously by the authorities and governing bodies at the beginning of each academic year.
In summary, the objectives of this Research Agenda are threefold.
First, it is an instrument for internal and external communication and has already served to discuss research priorities in view of the POLIS’ mission and strategy.
Second, it is a basis for research management: Discuss and set research priorities; there are many ideas on and visions of research that should be undertaken. Through this Research Agenda, POLIS will take a closer look at the research infrastructure, staff and resources issues, publications, and monitoring the progress of implementation of this Research Agenda.
Third, with this agenda we pursue connections; ‐ between research and academic education. Research should be connected to the development of academic education of the two faculties. Research should nourish education. And vice versa: education should come up with questions for research; ‐ and with other institutions, POLIS objective is to play a more prominent role in the international research community. More POLIS staff should participate in joint international research, and in joint publications.
