ACADEMIC PROFILE

Kejsi Veselagu has completed her university studies at Polis University in the integrated Master of Architecture and Urban Design. Before graduation, she worked at METROpolis studio. Shortly after graduating, she joined Polis University in what is now her current role as a teaching assistant in the Department of Architecture and Engineering. In this capacity, she has been actively engaged in both teaching and research, contributing to ongoing research projects within the department.
In parallel, she completed the Executive Master’s program in Restoration, Conservation and Valorization of Cultural Heritage, a collaboration initiative between the University of Polis and the University of Ferrara. This master’s degree provided her with a specialized understanding of architectural restoration, which complemented her research interests. Her research focuses not only on heritage and memory, but mainly on architectural theory, philosophy and space.
It is now part of the XXXIX cycle of IDAUP, the International Doctorate in Architecture and Urban Planning, organized by the University of Ferrara and the University of Polis. The topic she explores through her PhD concerns the relationship between form and non-form and how to materialize the immaterial through the concept of stereotomy.
