Pjerin Shoshi

Pjerin Shoshi was born in Tirana, Albania, on the 17^th of June 1985. He was graduated at the Agricultural University of Tirana, on Farm Management and Agribusiness. He also holds 2 (two) Master of Science Degrees in France, from the University of Montpellier on Project and Public Policy Engineering, and from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier on Territorial and Projects Development. Currently, Mr. Shoshi holds a PhD degree by the Agriculture University of Tirana on the subject of Impact of the Supporting Instruments in the Albanian Rural Areas.
Pjerin Shoshi has conducted a 9-month Internship at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries, Rural Affairs and Territorial Planning, in France, in the framework of comparative financial assessment, on the applicability of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) funds in the European Union, between France and Italy.
During the period of October 2016 – November 2017, Mr. Shoshi has worked as Coordinator at the Strategic Business Investment Unit at the Prime Minister’s Office in Albania. Also, during the period of December 2017 – January 2022, he has worked as Director of Developing Programs at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Albania.
Pjerin Shoshi has a working experience in the public education as a full-time Lecturer, during the years 2013 – 2016, at the Aleksandër Moisiu University, in Durrës. He continued to work as a Lecturer, part-time, at the Mediterranean University of Tirana, during the years 2017 – 2020. Also, Mr. Shoshi has a working experience of 2 (two) years as head of the finance and strategic planning department in the private sector.
From April 2022, Pjerin Shoshi is working at POLIS University as full-time Lecturer at the Faculty of Planning, Environment and Urban Management in the Department of Urban Planning and Management.
